The Good News

When Jesus walked the earth the message He gave we call The Gospel.

The word gospel is an old English word for god-spell and is used to represent the Greek word evangelion meaning ‘good news’. In the classical Christian context it represents the message that Jesus Christ brought to us and now delivered in the form of the New Testament. But what does ‘good news’ mean to us today?

The scriptures tell us that for someone who brings good news, even their feet are considered beautiful (Rom. 10:15c). Have you looked at your feet lately?

Why is good news so important that we would call it scripture, or compliment someone’s feet?

These are the real life questions we as a community should ask ourselves, and the answers we should spend the rest of our lives trying to understand.

Won’t you join us, as together, we seek God and His answers as a community of faith?
